Help Emilie go to the JiuJitsu Pan Games

My name is Isabelle and I am fundraising to help my daughter Émilie participate in the Jiu-Jitsu Pan Games in Kissimmee, Florida. The event takes place from March 21st to March 26th, 2023.

Émilie has been training in Jiu-Jitsu for 3 years and competing successfully for a bit more than one year winning 4 golds and 2 silvers in 6 competitions. One of her silver was against the world champion in her category, which suggested she should compete at a higher level. Her coaches also support her in this project, as well as her training partners.

Being 16 years old, she is in the Juvenile bracket for competition at the blue belt level. The juvenile bracket includes only 16 and 17 years old athletes, so a small group of people, which is the perfect opportunity to measure herself at this level.

Having a limited income, the funds would be used to cover her registration for the event, our hotel, food, car rental, and buying a competition Gi that meets the requirement of the International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation which is organizing this event. Our flights have been generously offered by a friend of the family. We will be 3 people going with her to this event.

If we were to exceed the amount set for this fundraiser, the money would go to future competitions, continued specific training with strength and conditioning specialists and physical treatments such as osteopathy/athletic therapy.
