My name is Kimberly, and Emery is my brother, he is a father to two beautiful baby girls, a son to Lori and Emery Green and he is not the type of person to ever ask for help but is always the first to lend a hand. He’s my baby brother and writing this is something I never thought I’d be doing but here we are. In December Emery found a bump on his head so he went to the doctors, his doctor examined him and at that time determined it was nothing to be concerned about and they made an appointment to remove it. After it was removed, he started having some odd symptoms like numbness in this hands and limbs and loss of balance and coordination and headaches. He decided to go back to the doctor, that’s when they decided to do a CT SCAN. On January 7, 2021 they discovered Emery had a tumor on his brain.
Oligodendroglioma is a rare tumor that occurs in the brain. It belongs to a group of brain tumors called gliomas. Gliomas are primary tumors. This means they have originated in the brain rather than spreading from elsewhere in the body.
Emerys tumor is on the left side of his brain and when the tumor is this active it can affect a persons vision, hearing, memory, coordination, and balance. 
Tomorrow morning Tuesday February 23, 2021 Emery is going into surgery to have the tumor removed from his brain, Emerys insurance covers his surgery but some medical costs for surgery as well as the medications he is required to be on after surgery aren’t covered under his insurance and as we all know can be quite pricey. Post surgery and recovery Emery is going to have a long 12 week road at home to getting better out of work. The family is asking for any help at this time even a share is helpful and greatly appreciated!
