Some amazing people will know who Emerson is and his story I plan to share, but some thoughtful strangers don’t, and I would love to introduce the amazing boy I’m trying to raise money for.

Emerson is more than my boyfriend; he is a hard worker at our local coffee hut, a best friend, a cat dad, and an inspiring person who has gone through hoops to be who he is today. Emerson takes the time to educate others on queer news as well as provide a safe space for some who don’t even know themselves at all. He himself has been sheltered by kind friends during storms so gray it truly seemed like there was no light ever to be found again. Top surgery is expensive; we all unfortunately know this. This surgery is also a life-saving surgery. Gender-affirming care is beautiful, and I would love to watch my partner light up and see himself the way I have the privilege of doing every day.
