Hey y'all, my name is Amy and this is my sweet, amazing son Emerson (Em). Back in March, he became sick with swollen lymph nodes in his neck. After several doctor's visits with misdiagnoses and different antibiotics claiming it to be some type of viral infection, we decided to bring him to USA Women's and Children's in Mobile, where he was born and spent 3 months in the NICU, being born at only 1 lb 12 oz and a twin! After blood tests, it was 99.9% a fact he had Leukemia, T-Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia to be exact.

He is now on his second phase of chemotherapy and proving to be a fighter! Unfortunately, life still goes on and bills don't stop. We both had to stop working because Emerson needs 24/7 care. We have exceeded all our finances to be here to assure our sweet baby gets the best medical care. If you could find it in your hearts to donate to help us, we have 29 weeks to go, that is if he doesn’t need hospital stays. I would be forever grateful.
