Hello I’m Jessy , I’m raising funds to help with basically everything for my oldest son.
On the 4th of august I took Emerson to the prompt care in angels camp for them to transfer us to his normal hospital in Sacramento.
With multiple cat scans ultra sounds, and X-rays they found that Emerson has fluid build up between the lining of his lung and in his abdomen. He ended up with a chest tube for drainage. They got about 4oz of fluid, puss and blood out. The chest tube came out on the 9th. We were discharged and sent home on the 10th.
On the 12th I ran Emerson back to the ER because he had a fever and complaining of pain. The mass where fluid was last time had grown a bit. We had an X-ray and ultrasound and nothing had changed from when we were discharged, so we got sent home.
Then on the 15th of august Emerson was home and took a nap around 4PM woke up at about 6PM with a 101.9 fever, sweating, and screaming of pain. I took him to the ER again we had ultra sound and X-ray and fluid wasn’t in the lung lining but it is building back up in the abdomen. We ended up being admitted to the hospital.
Emerson had a procedure on the 17th to get a drain placed to release the fluid. Hopeful that this drain would do the trick; but that wasnt the case. This time Emerson was sent home with a drainage tube on the 21st of august.
We had 5 doctors appointments in between august 21st and September 15th to check on the drain and Emerson. On September 15th Emerson went in for a colonoscopy with not much to go off of.
Emerson now has an exploratory surgery scheduled for September 22nd with a possible color repair.
Our little family cannot take much more of this we’ve both have basically been with no job for the past 2 months due to my husband having to stay home and watch the new child, me being the only one there for Emerson during hospital stays
Emerson’s surgeons are unsure on how this abscess grew and where it is coming from this will more than likely not be the last time we are in the hospital.
Anything would help out our little family. Thank you for your time.
