Aloha, my name is Kathleen. I am creating this fundraiser for my uncle and his wife. They have recently lost their home, all of their belongings and many pets due to the Lahaina wild fire in Maui Hawaii. During the fire, they had to go thru front street which they said was a scary and heartbreaking experience. Flames were seen left and right of their car, and they thought they were going to die there in their car but luckily they both got out and are safe.

They're currently living with the rest of my family at a hotel. Which sheltered them during these tragic circumstances. They're in need of monetary donations as they would also love to rebuild and replace their belongings. My uncle is a taxi driver and has not been able to work due to the recent lost of their home and due to the lost of our beautiful town of Lahaina.

I am creating this fundraiser for them as they don't know how any of these donation websites work and has not received any monetary donations from anyone since the fire.
