Help! Emergency funds needed for Kim Chapple

Hello my name is Monica Graham and I am fundraising for a very good friend of mine Kim Chapple! A lot of you may know Kim and her husband George and kiddos Sydney, Sadie, Maddy, Emma and Oliver. They are a tight nit loving, caring, faith oriented and private family. Kim has always been a selfless person. I’d know, I’ve known her since I was ten years old! Life certainly has thrown her many curves and especially these last number of years. On her 40th birthday, three and a half years ago she was diagnosed with breast cancer. It has been a tough journey of many surgeries and intense recoveries. Somehow God has helped her make it through a nine and a half hour reconstruction surgery and recovery. She has also had mercury poisioning due to some amalgam pieces that where embedded in her jawbone during a dental procedure. She had to have a surgery to remove these seven pieces! On top of that she was having gall stone attacks. Two years in October they removed her gall bladder. During this process of testing they did biopsies of her gut and found out she has celiac disease! So big changes were made there as well. She went through all of this while her back(spine) had been hurting in the background and being a mom and wife, you would never have known she was in severe pain. She had been doing Doctor’s visits, physiotherapy, massage therapy, going to the chiropractor and more than you can ever imagine. FINALLY the pain got to be more than she could cope with and with her Doctor being on holidays she had to go to the emergency room. God heard her cry and and she finally had a doctor that listened and acted....huge! She was sent for a MRI and the wait was two and a half months away .. she couldn’t believe it but God in his goodness opened the doors and she was called for a cancellation two days later! This resulted in crazy findings and finally an answer to her incredible pain and proof that She’s not crazy!! She has had many appointments and the conclusion is what she needs replaced in her spine is not offerred here in Canada. If She doesn’t do surgery she risks losing her mobility! She has already lost feeling in her left side hip down her leg and across her lower spine. This is not good, so they sent their info to Germany (the only Country that does this surgery) called and spoken to eight different folks who've been over and have been super thrilled with their success with this surgery. The surgery has to happen early this fall, likely October and comes with a huge price tag. The numbers are still being calculated for surgery, accommodations, flights, two weeks over there in intense physio, It will cost well over 60,000 dollars!! Its a huge sum of money. But I’m hoping our community here plus the church communities will be able to generate a whole bunch of funds for these guys. She has a syrignamelia  cyst inside the spinal cord, and five to six bulging discs that are diseased. She also has a deteriorated facet joint. George will have to take time off of work and he is the bread winner in the household. So Im

hoping and praying we can raise enough for her and to keep the house hold afloat while they are gone. If Kim doesn’t get this surgery she will lose ALL her mobility. She deserves the absolute world.
