Over the weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting and staying with Emelie in the southwest of WA near Denmark. For the last three years, she has been single-handedly providing a sanctuary for orphaned and abandoned animals on her property. It touched me to see the deep love and compassion she has for all of her animals. She tenderly told me their stories— the 3 week old sheep who survived a week next to his dead mother; the rejected baby alpaca; the calf who suffered a leg injury and was without a mother. Emelie takes each orphan in and gives them a warm sanctuary to recover in. She asks for no donations and no help from the outside. But I know it is an expensive and thankless task to do what she is doing.

Emelie recently took in four orphaned lambs and a baby alpaca, only days old. They require twice daily bottle feeding and the cost is $100 per week for the next three months. I would love your help with raising the funds to cover the cost of this.
