Stacy is raising funds for Embry Rumsey, a beloved grandson who recently received a power chair. This new wheelchair is a huge step forward for Embry, but it has also created an urgent transportation challenge for the family. The chair weighs 360 pounds and will not fit in any of their current vehicles, which means Embry cannot safely travel in it without a van equipped with a wheelchair lift. Right now, the family has to lift Embry in and out of a current wheelchair or medical stroller and into a custom-made car seat that he is barely able to fit in. It is becoming harder and harder, and a safer, more comfortable solution is desperately needed.

A van with a wheelchair lift would make everyday life so much easier for Embry and the people who care for him. It would help get him to and from school, to doctor appointments in Evansville and Indianapolis, to therapy, and to family events. Most importantly, it would allow Embry to ride safely in his power chair, travel more comfortably, and enjoy more of the world around him.
