Hi everyone, I’m reaching out because my sweet cat Ember really needs help. She’s almost 2 years old, and I adopted her after she survived a fire in a homeless encampment. Because of that, she has permanent damage to one of her front legs, but she’s never let that stop her—she is the most loving, affectionate cat and always wants to be right by my side. She also loves her brother muffin very much.

Recently, I found out that Ember is very sick. She’s been diagnosed with jaundice and anemia, and our vet told us there is a strong possibility she could have cancer or chronic liver disease. To find out what’s really going on, she urgently needs an ultrasound and further testing, along with medication—but the costs are expected to be in the thousands.

I love Ember more than anything, and it’s heartbreaking to see her like this. I want to give her every chance possible to get better and live a long, happy life.
