Help Emanuelle Finish Strong: Support Her Senior Year at Foxcroft
My daughter, Emanuelle, is preparing to begin her senior year at Foxcroft School—a place that has become her second home, where she’s blossomed academically, artistically, and athletically.
She’s a three-sport varsity athlete, a performing artist, and a student leader who’s overcome real challenges to find her voice and her confidence. Now, she’s just one year away from graduation—and from pursuing her dream of studying journalism in college.
But we’re facing an urgent financial hurdle that could derail all of that.
Last year, I lost my job and later a subcontract due to sudden government budget cuts. Though I’ve worked tirelessly to regain footing—navigating a difficult job market while running a small business to cover our basic living expenses—we’ve fallen behind on tuition from her junior year. And now, I’m unable to cover the cost of her final year.
Most of Emanuelle’s tuition and boarding are covered by scholarships and financial aid, thanks to her hard work and achievements. But a remaining balance stands in the way of her returning to the school where she has truly thrived.
This summer, she was awarded a prestigious grant to attend Early College at Spelman, where she studied Art History and Curatorial Studies. She is determined to keep moving forward—but we can’t do it without help.
We are raising funds to cover:
• Outstanding tuition from her junior year --- DONE!!!
• Upcoming senior year tuition
• Essential school and graduation expenses
If you know Emanuelle, you know she is the kind of young woman who makes the most of every opportunity—and gives back even more. This is your chance to invest in a future journalist, artist, and changemaker.
Every gift—no matter the amount—gets us closer to the finish line.
Thank you for standing with us and believing in her.
With gratitude,
