Help Emani Study Abroad in London!

Hello, my name is Emani Eaglin. I’m a Junior Professional Theatre student with an Acting concentration at North Carolina A&T State University. I have been blessed with the opportunity to attend a Greek Theatre Research Program through the British American Drama Academy (BADA). This program is sponsored by Denzel Washington, and has been attended by many artists that I look up to, including Chadwick Boseman and Simone Missick. The program takes place in Summer 2022 in London and Greece. I have been looking forward to studying abroad since my Freshman year of college.

“This intense, interdisciplinary course not only combines performance and academic research to immerse participants in the world of the Classical Greek theatre but also includes the unique opportunity to visit archives and exhibits normally reserved for scholars.” Taking this course will help me develop a deep understanding of Greek Theatre, as well as become able to draw connections from the ancient theatre, to theatre and performance today. Participating in this program will help me get the hands-on experience I need that I could not receive during virtual learning.

While being a full-time student, I am also working part-time to cover my school expenses. Traveling out of the country to further develop my passion will be an exciting and eye-opening experience for me, while enhancing my career. All of the funds collected will go towards my tuition.
