Hi, my name is Emani, and asking for help has never come easy for me. I’ve always been the one to push through and stay strong for my child, even when life feels overwhelming. But this season has taught me that faith sometimes looks like humility, and strength sometimes means letting others help.

After being in a car accident, I began experiencing severe panic and anxiety attacks that made it difficult for me to drive and work consistently. Because of this, I eventually had to give my car back not because I didn’t care, but because I could not afford it while struggling through the effects of the accident. That voluntary repossession is now on my record, making it much harder and more expensive for me to purchase another vehicle.

I am also preparing to start nursing school, a calling I am deeply grateful for. The school is a little far, but it is a good program one I truly believe God led me to. Reliable transportation is essential for me to attend school, continue providing for my child, and walk fully into this next chapter.
