As some of you know Emily suffered a bike accident where she broke her jaw in two places, and severely damaged her five front-top teeth, and they will need to be replaced.
Emily underwent major jaw surgery last Saturday involving multiple screws and metal plates being installed in her mouth and the left side of her face to rebuild her jaw, and she is recovering at home. The dental work will likely be especially extensive as four of the teeth were already dental implants from a car accident in her teens.
The full cost of the dental work, and the amount of coverage the Canadian dental program will provide, remains to be seen. Emily is without private dental insurance.
We are asking for any financial support to help out while she recovers over the next 2 months (at least). She has already incurred significant costs, and we're hoping for help with her lost wages while she recovers.
Right now Emily is just focussed on rest and recovery. Thank you so much for any help, support, and kind words.
