Elza is my sweet 6-year-old dog, and she means everything to me. Just a few days ago, she was walking around like her usual happy self. But on Wednesday, everything changed—she suddenly collapsed and now can’t walk or stand. After rushing her to the vet, we learned she has a rare autoimmune blood disorder called IMHA. It’s been terrifying to see her go from healthy to so fragile in such a short time.

The veterinarians have told us that Elza needs immediate, intensive care to have a chance at recovery. She will require four blood transfusions, a CT scan, and daily injections just to keep her stable. The costs are overwhelming, and while we’ve managed to gather most of the funds, we still need support to get her treatment started. Every day counts, and we’re doing everything we can to give her the best chance.
