On December 6th, a catastrophic bushfire tore through parts of Koolewong, NSW, leaving my sister Elyse and her family with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Elyse, her boyfriend, her mother, and her 1-year-old son luckily escaped the flames. While we are deeply grateful they are safe, their home—and every belonging inside it—has been completely destroyed.

Elyse has lost her house, furniture, clothing, baby essentials, important documents, and precious personal items that can never be replaced. She is now facing the painful and overwhelming task of rebuilding her life while caring for her little boy and supporting her family through this traumatic experience.

We are raising funds to help Elyse and her family with:

Emergency accommodation and basic living needs

Clothing, baby supplies, and personal essentials

Replacing household items and furniture

Supporting them as they work toward long-term stability
