I am Diane Bay, and I am Hunter Carson's sister. Hunter, Elyse and their three girls live in Kingwood, TX which got hit by Hurricane Beryl on Monday. Their backyard tree fell through their house! It happened about 10:45 am, Elyse was on the phone sitting on the bed, and Hunter was at the end of the bed folding clothes, when he let out a blood-curdling scream for Elyse and then the roof came down on her! Hunter dragged her out. Besides a bump on her head, she was uninjured. They can't believe they are alive with barely a scratch. Hunter said the tree missed her by 2 inches.

Their kids were safe in another room at the time, but they are all traumatized. By the grace of God they all have their lives. They don't have power or internet, so I am posting this for them. Plus it helps me to not feel helpless since I live far away.
