Help Elvis Recover from foreign object in large intestine
Donation protected

Elvis needs help. We had a long trip from Montana to California. Shortly afterwards at my new spot Elvis began vomiting. I thought it could be stress but as he continued to decline I brought him to the emergency vet as an urgent care patient. They gave him some fluids and an anti nausea injection and discharged him. Poison was an immediate concern of mine because there were old rat bait traps littered around the property. That night was rough and I watched him rapidly loose mobility and saw that he was in pain. I brought him to the vet the next morning and after undergoing X-rays and an ultrasound they found a foreign object lodged in his large intestine. Emergency surgery was performed in the evening and the object was removed successfully. He is doing well and making a nice recovery from surgery. I'm out of money after an expensive move and multiple vet visits. Anything can help.
