Hi, my name is Alejandra Chavez and I’m raising funds to help cover emergency veterinary expenses for our dog, Elvis.

A couple of days ago, Elvis suddenly became very sick. He stopped eating, had no energy, and began vomiting blood. After taking him to the veterinarian and getting X-rays, we were told that he had swallowed a foreign object that became stuck in his intestines.

Because his condition was getting worse, the only option was an emergency surgery that needed to be done immediately. The total cost of the surgery and care came out to $6,000. Thankfully, we were able to cover the cost so Elvis could be treated in time.

While we’re incredibly relieved that the surgery was successful and that Elvis is now recovering, the expense was completely unexpected and has been a huge financial strain on our family. We’re asking for help to recover part of these medical costs.
