My name is Aliyah, and my daughter Elsa is my 9-year-old Chorkie. She may be a dog to others, but to me, she is my whole heart.

Recently, she had to go through emergency surgery after being diagnosed with pyometra. It was one of the scariest moments of my life, not knowing if she was going to be okay. I can’t imagine a life without her.

She’s now on day 7 of recovery, and I’m so grateful she’s still here with me, slowly getting stronger every day.
