Help Elsa Get the Dental Care She Needs
Hi everyone,
I’m reaching out for help for my sweet cat Elsa, who is scheduled for her third dental procedure due to an ongoing condition called tooth resorption. This condition is painful, progressive, and unfortunately common in cats, with dental surgery being the only effective treatment.
Elsa’s Story
Before I adopted Elsa, she belonged to my mom and was her baby. My mom was the first to notice that something wasn’t right. Elsa would act hungry but consistently did not finish her wet food, no matter the type or flavor.
After my mom passed and Elsa came into my care, I continued to see the same behavior. Following veterinary exams and imaging, we finally learned the cause: Elsa had multiple painful teeth that needed to be removed. It became clear that she hadn’t been picky — she had been quietly eating through dental pain.
Since then, Elsa has already needed two dental procedures, and sadly, tooth resorption doesn’t stop. Now, she needs another surgery to prevent further pain and complications.
Current Medical Needs
Our vet has confirmed that Elsa will definitely need at least two teeth removed, with the possibility of more depending on what is discovered during the procedure.
Procedure: Feline dental surgery with extractions
Scheduled date: May 29, 2026
Estimated cost: $1,174.77 – $1,907.57
Confirmed need: At least 2 teeth removed
An official veterinary estimate is attached for transparency.
Why I’m Asking for Help
This procedure comes at a very difficult financial time. I’m still trying to recover after my other cat, Kitty, was recently very sick, which required extensive veterinary care. During that period, I had to rely heavily on credit cards to make sure she received treatment.
I am doing everything I can, but I can’t fully cover another major veterinary expense on my own right now.
Fundraiser Goal
I’m only asking for $500, and I will personally cover the remainder of the cost. Any amount — no matter how small — will go directly toward Elsa’s care and help relieve the financial strain so I can focus on her recovery.
Thank You
Elsa is a gentle, loving cat who deserves to live without ongoing pain. This procedure will allow her to eat comfortably and enjoy a better quality of life.
If you’re able to donate or share this fundraiser, I’m deeply grateful. Thank you for reading and for supporting us.
With gratitude,
Teresa & Elsa
