✨ Help Elmley Castle C of E First School Raise £7,000 for iPads! ✨

We are excited to announce that we have set up a crowdfunding page to ask for support from our parents and the wider community.

Our goal? To raise £7,000 to purchase more iPads and enhance our maths learning across the school!

Why iPads for Maths?

We’re already seeing fantastic results using iPads to support our lessons, especially through engaging platforms like Times Table Rock Stars and Magma Maths. Magma is an incredible online tool that provides instant feedback, plenty of challenge, and helps pupils build confidence in their maths skills.

However, we don’t have enough iPads for all our pupils to benefit fully. Right now, access is limited, and we want to ensure every child gets the opportunity to develop their maths skills using this powerful technology.

Mrs Penney says: "We are committed to giving our pupils the very best learning opportunities, and technology plays a huge role in that. These iPads will allow more children to access fantastic maths resources, helping to build confidence and make learning even more engaging."

Mr Jarvie adds: "Magma Maths and Times Table Rock Stars are already having a big impact on our pupils. The technology allows us to show heat maps of the class and identify very swiftly who might need some additional support."
