My name is Deyanira Vicente, and I’m trying to help the love of my life, Elmer Sontay, win his battle with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Elmer is 33 and has been fighting this terrible disease since March of 2019. He went into remission in November 2019, but the cancer returned stronger than before in April 2021. Now the cancer has spread into his bone marrow, and he will need a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. Unfortunately, in order to receive the transplant, he will have to pay some up front. Elmer has been unable to work since his diagnosis and also needs help paying bills and with everyday expenses. His family and I have helped as much as we can, but he needs so much more. I decided to start this page to try to relieve some of the financial burden this awful disease has placed on us. Please pray for us and consider donating as little or as much as you feel led to. Mi nombre es Deyanira Vicente y estoy tratando de ayudar al amor de mi vida, Elmer Sontay, a ganar su batalla contra la leucemia linfocítica aguda. Elmer tiene 33 años y ha estado luchando contra esta terrible enfermedad desde marzo de 2019. Entró en remisión en noviembre de 2019, pero el cáncer volvió más fuerte que antes en abril de 2021. Ahora el cáncer se ha extendido a su médula y necesitará un hueso trasplante de médula lo antes posible. Desafortunadamente, para recibir el trasplante, tendrá que pagar algo por adelantado.
