On July 14 at 12:05pm the lives of two teenage girls, their families, friends and the entire community changed forever. Ellyit and Jilly were in a severe car accident with a semi-truck while driving on Highway 36 near Alton. They were flown to two out of the area trauma hospitals. Jilly has her own Go Fund Me, so this site is for Ellyit and her family to cover hospital bills, medications, hotel stays, extensive travel costs, and other incidentals and expenses. Ellyit had severe head trauma, with brain swelling and has been unconscious since the accident. She had brain surgery the day of the accident to relieve the pressure on her brain and to remove a blood clot. Doctors and nurses have been working round the clock and Ellyit has been fighting like a champion.

Ellyit is an Academy of the Redwoods student and is getting ready to start her senior year.
