Help Elliott Achieve His Dreams and Transform the Future of Mathematics

Hi, I’m Leona, and I’m reaching out on behalf of Ellie (short for Elliott), a 15-year-old math enthusiast who is both profoundly gifted and twice-exceptional. This means Ellie is on the autism spectrum and learns in ways that are uniquely suited to him. Despite facing challenges navigating an educational system that’s not designed for learners like him, Elliott is already excelling in advanced college-level math courses (and beyond) and dreaming big.

Ellie’s love for math started at a young age. At just 6 years old, he independently explained the concept of pi (π) in a video that became a family favorite — which he named “Ellie’s Education Time.” Homeschooled and deeply self-motivated, Ellie wrote a children’s book, Jupiter the Alpha Planet, at the age of 7, and was published three years later. At 8, after testing at a local high school, he scored the highest marks on the high school readiness STAR test, demonstrating his exceptional abilities early on. He became a member of Mensa when he was just 9 years old.

Today, Elliott continues to work privately with a university professor on his own mathematical research, focusing on discoveries related to the Fibonacci sequence and generating functions. His passion for mathematics is unparalleled, and his research is already showing promise.

Elliott is currently enrolled in a local college where he is pursuing a mathematics degree well beyond his age. Although he shows incredible promise, Elliott faces unique challenges that typical students don’t. Despite his extraordinary talents, Elliott lacks access to the financial resources that could help him achieve his full potential."

However, higher education comes at a cost. College tuition, books, transportation, and other supplies amount to tens of thousands of dollars over the years. Since Elliott cannot be a full-time student in the traditional sense due to his special needs, he is unfortunately ineligible for most financial aid or scholarships. This is where we need your help.

How Your Donation Will Make a Difference

Your generous donation will go directly toward covering Ellie’s education expenses, including:

Tuition and fees

Books and supplies

By supporting Elliott, you’re investing in a future where gifted neurodivergent students are given the space to learn, grow, and innovate. His journey is a testament to the power of perseverance, creativity, and support from people like you!

Please consider donating today to help remove the financial barriers standing between Ellie and his mathematical dreams. Every contribution brings Elliott one step closer to achieving his goals and making a lasting impact on the world of mathematics.

Thank you for supporting Elliott’s education and future!

As Elliott once said, "Can you imagine a world where mathematics and, by extension, many other fields of study, are advanced to a point well beyond where they are today? In what ways could the world change if this future were to come true? I believe that if this happened, then the world would become better, a more accessible, and a more knowledgeable place to live in. Statistics show that as humanity’s collective knowledge increases, so does access to food, water, and electricity. As Benjamin Franklin said, “An investment in knowledge pays the best interest.

Again, thank you so much for your generosity, kindness, and support. Together, we can help Elliott break down the barriers to his success and ensure that his incredible talents reach their fullest potential.

Sincerely,
Leona
