Hi, my name is Karin Hendricks and I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Anne Schmitt and Mary Johnson, for their beloved 10-month-old Airedale puppy, Elliot Schmitt. Elliot recently experienced a life-threatening emergency after ingesting part of his crate rug, which required immediate surgery. After bravely making it through the first surgery, everyone was hopeful he was on the road to recovery. Sadly, he developed a serious complication that required a second emergency surgery.
Elliot is currently receiving specialized care at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Service, where the veterinary team is doing everything to help him heal. Two emergency surgeries, hospitalization, medications, and ongoing monitoring have resulted in overwhelming veterinary expenses. Anne and Mary are devoted to Elliot and are doing everything possible to give him the best chance at a healthy future, but the financial burden has become very heavy. At just 10 months old, this sweet Airedale puppy is full of life, love, and a big personality. He brings joy to Anne and Mary and to everyone who meets him.
We are asking for help to cover emergency surgical procedures, hospitalization and monitoring, medications, and follow-up care. Any contribution, no matter the size, will make a difference. If you are unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean so much. If you would prefer to donate directly to the clinic, contributions can be made by contacting Metropolitan Veterinary Specialist and Emergency Service at (502) [phone redacted] and specifying that the donation is for Elliot Schmitt, owner Anne Schmitt account. Thank you for your kindness, support, and prayers for Elliot's recovery. With gratitude, Karin Hendricks (on behalf of Anne Schmitt & Mary Johnson)
