Help Ellie travel to Uganda with Amigos Charity

Hello,

I am Ellie aged 15 and attend South Molton Community College.

I have been selected to be a part of an Educational trip to visit Uganda with the Amigos Charity.

The Amigos Charity is based in North Devon and is well known for it's fantastic educational support it gives to under privileged children in Uganda.

South Molton Community College and Braunton Academy have been supporting the Amigos Charity for several year's and worked well together to create a strong partnership.

This opportunity only comes around every two years and I am extremley happy to have been chosen to go on this life changing trip.

My Objectives of the visit :

Support the development of the essential facilities for Kira Farm.

To raise money to help pay towards the above developments

To experience the educational & cultural background.

To be an ambassador for the Amigos Charity.

As I am taking part in this wonderful experience I have to raise £2,200 by holding fundraising events and I will be doing this from May 2023 through to June 2024.

The total raised will cover the cost of the flights, accommodation, food, transport & excursions and a donation to the Amigos Charity.

It won't be all work and no play! There will also be time to enjoy various activities, a safari trail, a trip on the Nile & visiting markets of Kampala.

Any donation you can give will be gratefully received and will help me raise the final amount.
