Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

I’m reaching out to you today to ask for your support for my sister-in-law, Ellie, and my brother during an incredibly challenging time. Ellie is currently in a medical rehabilitation hospital, bravely recovering from emergency surgery on her leg that led to a life-threatening case of sepsis. She’s already spent 4 weeks in the hospital and is expected to remain there for another 6-8 weeks as she works toward recovery.

This unexpected medical crisis has turned their world upside down. With Ellie unable to work and my brother doing everything he can to manage their household, they’re struggling to make ends meet—especially when it comes to covering their rent. Their home isn’t just a roof over their heads; it’s also home to their two beloved dogs, one sweet cat, and five little fish.

We’re hoping to raise enough funds to cover at least two months of rent and basic living expenses during this difficult time. Your generosity will allow Ellie to focus on her recovery without the added stress of financial insecurity and will give my brother the ability to support her without the constant worry of eviction looming over them.
