Hi, my name is Charlie and I’m reaching out for help for my sweet 9-year-old Pomeranian, Ellie.

On 8/17/25, something traumatic happened in our home. One of our larger dogs suddenly attacked Ellie. When I walked in the door, I found her covered in blood and fighting for her life. We rushed her to the emergency vet, where she underwent emergency surgery for 10–12 puncture wounds to her head, requiring stitches and a drain to remove fluid from deep tissue injuries.

Ellie is the gentlest soul — she spends her days curled up, asking for head scratches, and bringing joy to our family. Seeing her in pain like this has been heartbreaking. She has a long road of recovery ahead, and we are committed to giving her every bit of love and care she needs to heal.

Unfortunately, the emergency surgery and follow-up care come with significant medical expenses that we were not prepared for. We are asking for help to cover her medical bills and ongoing treatment so Ellie can focus on healing.

At this time, I am also asking for your prayers for Ellie’s recovery and for understanding as I process what has happened. Please give me the space and time I need to work through this while focusing on Ellie’s healing.
