Help Ellie Keep Her Wheels Turning

Hello, I go by Ellie.
I am a Los Angeles resident. From that statement alone you can probably guess how important my car is to me. I took a chance a year ago and purchased a vehicle from Hunters Auto in North Hollywood. After the pandemic, the demand for used cars outpaced the supply of used cars, which resulted in a 60 percent price jump. Desperate for more job opportunities I agreed to a $14,000 loan for this 10-year-old vehicle. I was assured that it was recently repaired, had no accident history, had one previous owner, and was under 95,000 miles. When I started it up it sounded fine to my untrained ear. Getting the car did afford me a new job opportunity. That job laid me off two days before my birthday last month. Unemployment is barely enough for rent.
Long story short, I have found that she has a bad engine. According to everyone, this is my problem and mine alone. With no job and a car that shuts off randomly, money is extremely tight. Now, even the breaks & rotors are screeching at me as well.
I'm here to ask for assistance with fixing the car to continue supporting myself. If you can, please help me make these monthly $360 payments worth it.
