My sweet sister Ellie Humphrey-Frazier recently started radiation and chemotherapy for a stage 3 colorectal cancer.  We're hoping she won't need surgery but it is a possibility. 

Ellie is a momma to thirteen-year-old Sadie and eleven-year-old Elliott. She is an artist, an optician, and an amazing friend.  If you know Ellie, you know that she is strong, resilient, and resourceful. She has already been through worse than cancer, losing her beloved eldest child Owen six years ago. But cancer is cancer. And it's incredibly expensive. 

Ellie will be out of work for at least six months. The paltry temporary disability payments she'll receive are a fraction of her family's basic living expenses let alone the constant co-pays and expenses associated with this illness.
