Help Ellias build a home
Donation protected
Ellias Nceba Matiwane has been the General Manager of the City Masters Sport club, now under the umbrella name Pauline Podbrey Foundation (https://www.ppfoundation.org.za/) , for over 18 years. It is situated in Khayelitsha, a black township some 35 km from Cape Town, South Africa.
The foundation serves over 250 boys and girls in several ways, including offering meals, sport activities and education (early childhood, health issues, robotics and after school work) which shelters them from the endemic drug and gang culture of the area, giving them the chance for a decent future.
The original home for the club was a backyard shed on property owned by the Matiwane Family, which they donated to the Foundation. The present clubhouse was built with financial aid from the Canadian Government. The head of the tribal lands in the Eastern Cape has offered Ellias a piece of land on which to build a home, which will cost $5000 CAN ( R50 000) to build.
Ellias has worked selflessly and with little compensation to build the Foundation into the success it is today. The Matiwanes helped us when we needed it and now we want to help them. If 1000 people donate even just $5 each, we can make it happen!
Please donate now.
