قلوبنا تصرخ من قلب المعاناة.. أرجوكم لا تتركوا إيلين وأطفالي وحيدين!

أنا عزيزة الشنطي، أم لثلاثة أطفال أعمارهم وروحي معلقة بهم: إيلين، ومحمد، ويزن.

ابنتي الصغيرة إيلين مرت برحلة قاسية ومؤلمة منذ صغرها؛ أصابتها حساسية في الدماغ أدت لفقدانها السمع. حاربتُ الدنيا وبكل ما أملك، وعملتُ في أصعب الظروف لأوفر لها علاجها وجراحة "زراعة القوقعة" التي تكبدتُ من أجلها تكاليف باهظة للتأهيل وقطع الغيار. أتوجه بكل الشكر والامتنان لكل من مدّ لي يد العون منذ بداية الحرب، لكن اليوم.. الوضع أصبح كارثياً وتلاشت التبرعات تماماً.اليوم، أقف عاجزة تماماً..

أصابني اكتئاب حاد وضغوطات نفسية تحطمني، ولم أعد قادرة على العمل أو حتى تأمين أبسط مقومات الحياة من أكل وشرب لطفليّ.

كارثتنا الأكبر اليوم تخص إيلين:

جهاز القوقعة الخاص بها انكسر وتلف تماماً! إيلين اليوم محطمة نفسياً، توقفت عن الذهاب للمدرسة، وانعزلت عن أصدقائها. والأمر أبعد من ذلك بكثير: نحن نعيش في خيام ستغرق قريباً مع اقتراب الشتاء ولا نستطيع تجهيزها، والأهم من هذا كله: نحن في خطر دائم، وإذا لم ترتدِ إيلين جهازها لن تسمع أصوات الخطر لكي نتمكن من النجاة والهرب! نحن بحاجة ماسة وبأقصى سرعة لجهاز "باور بانك" لشحن جهازها، ولجهاز قوقعة جديد يعيد لها صوت الحياة.

أتوجه بنداء من قلب أم مكسورة إلى أصدقائي الأعزاء الذين دعمونا سابقاً، وكل من يقرأ رسالتي اليوم: تبرعوا لنا، وانشروا هذا الرابط في كل مكان وبأوسع نطاق. نحن في أمسّ الحاجة لكم اليوم، وكل مساهمة مهما كانت صغيرة تعني لنا طوق نجاة.

Our hearts are breaking

Please don’t leave Eileen and my three children alone in this nightmare.

My name is Azeiza Al-Shanti, a mother to three precious children: Eileen, Mohammad, and Yazan.

My little girl Eileen has fought the world since she was a baby. After battling a severe brain infection that caused her to lose her hearing, I worked through impossible hardships just to secure her cochlear implant surgery, therapy, and continuous spare parts. I am endlessly grateful to everyone who helped us since the war began, but today, the situation has worsened beyond words, and donations have completely dried up.

Today, I am completely helpless.

The overwhelming pressure has led to severe depression, leaving me unable to work, unable to provide basic food and water for my children, and unable to fix our tent before the winter floods destroy it.

Eileen’s world has gone silent and shattered:

Her cochlear processor is completely broken. She is devastated, has stopped going to school, and withdrawn from playing with her friends. Most terrifyingly, we are constantly surrounded by danger. Without her device, she cannot hear incoming threats, and we cannot hear the warnings in time to escape and save our lives. We urgently need a power bank to keep her device running and, above all, a brand-new cochlear device so she can hear the world—and survival—again.
