Help Ellen Payne Avoid Foreclosure and Reunite with Family

HELLO FAMILY & FRIENDS

My name is Ellen Payne. Family knows me as Ellen Mae.

I live in Hanceville, Alabama, away from family. I have been a single mom since my beloved son was 16 months old. He was abducted from me when he was 13 months old, and I had to go to court to gain custody. He was my only child. I lost him on June 28, 2024, to cancer after 18 months of intense pain and suffering. I helped with his care during his last 2 months. My life will never be the same without him. I feel deeply the pain of those who have lost a child. To make matters worse, I have no idea where he has been laid to rest.

I am fundraising to avoid foreclosure. I am about to lose my home due to financial hardship. I am in desperate need of the funds for legal purposes to file a lawsuit to remove my son and his wife from the deed of my house so I can sell and move nearer to my family in Florida. I have no one here in Alabama. His wife is unwilling to sign the quitclaim deed so I could sell in order to continue to live the rest of my life. She claims my home is her inheritance as her husband’s heir! I included them on the deed under the assumption that I would be the one to go first. I was under no obligation to add them to the deed. I added them so that they would avoid the hassle of probate after my passing.

I would also like to find the location where my son has been laid to rest in New Orleans. Presently, I am unaware of his resting place.

I am undergoing health issues and struggling with financial hardship since my son's death as he helped with the upkeep and maintenance of my home.

I am also battling cancer and lymphedema as a result of cancer and unable to work anymore. I’m in desperate need of a new lymphedema pump as the one I have been using daily is on its last legs. The cost is $1,700.00.

Any money donated will be used for legal purposes and the court fees. After those expenses, any extra funds will be used for the purchase of the pump. It is an Airos pump.
