Help Ellen Be There For Rob

Just over 2 years ago, my dear friend Ellen married a wonderful man, Rob. It was a freezing cold morning in Telluride, CO, and it was a beautiful thing to witness the love and vows between these two people.

It just so happens that Rob lives in Tasmania. I don't know many people that could maintain a relationship with someone on the other side of world, but somehow they have made it work. It wasn't until recently that the challenge of those miles really came full force.  When we say "For better or worse", no one expects the worse to come so soon.

Rob was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer, and faces a very long, difficult road. When the news came, Ellen immediately jumped on a plane, left work for 3 weeks and was there for a battery of tests and doctors visits while a treatment plan was made.  She recently had to return home, and Rob is now starting treatment. With the cost of missed work and plane tickets, simply being there for her husband is a huge financial undertaking. No one should be apart during these difficult times. Please help us buy her next plane ticket so she can make plans to go back.
