Help Ellen get back on her feet!

On October 29th, as Ellen and Sparky were riding home on the bike at night, an idiot driver pulled out in front of them and came to a dead stop for no reason (the road was empty of cars and animals). Jeff did all he could to avoid the car but was left with no choice but to lay the bike down in order to avoid a direct collision. While they laid in the road, the driver drove off, leaving them lying on the pavement with Ellen seriously injured. Ellen had to be rushed to the hospital with several broken bones in her leg. She had to have extensive surgery and now has two rods and four screws in her leg.

Ellen, who is a bartender, won't be back on her feet and able to work for quite some time due to the fact that her job requires her to be on her feet all day. With the accumulating medical expenses and physical therapy she now has to undergo, I'm sure they would appreciate any help you can give.
