Help Elleck and Reeve Overcome Financial Crisis

UPDATE 3: Finally some things are looking up, but what’s not is some car issues still after we thought we fixed it! That, coupled with my recent and upcoming doctors appointments for the hormone condition I have are very daunting. I hate asking for help, because I don’t feel like I deserve it. But you all have asked me to make this, so I made this for you. and we are so so SO grateful to everyone who has donated. I’m about to cry just thinking about it. You all are amazing. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

UPDATE 2: I was finally informed I will not be losing my job at this time! I am still job seeking just in case, but I do have one. The only down side is the promotion that is long overdue is now on pause instead. That stinks, but I could have no job at all, so thank the Lord for that!

UPDATE: As of 2/28/25 I was informed I may be losing my full-time job in the near future. I am extremely stressed about this and am searching for something else, but right now, not sure what to do. Additionally, they raised the electricity prices in my city and now my $120-$170 bill is $311. I hate asking for help, but I’m not sure what else to do at this point. I will start doing extra streams to try and grind it out. Thanks for all the love!

I'm Elleck, a small twitch vtuber streamer with a full-time job during the week. My husband, Reeve, works full-time as a welder. After many medical visits, a mouth surgery, many specialists, tests, etc., we thought we were finally getting right side up. Unfortunately, Reeve thought a bill was taken care of by a dealership that ended up not being paid, and the dealership screwed him by selling him a car under false pretenses, screwed up his agreement, ran 6 hits on his credit report and dropped it by over 100 points, and failed to list the vehicle as even bought. (There's more, but the story is very, very long.)

The aftermath of this is a $13,300 bill sent to collections that wasn't discovered until we tried to finally get a home loan. The dealership staff had all been fired or replaced, so we are unable to pursue legal action and are stuck with this bill. We hoped to catch a break on our taxes, but learned his job had his W-4 wrong and wasn't taking the proper taxes out, so instead of a tax break, we now owe $1,500.

I am not the kind of person to make these kinds of donation requests; I am the kind of person who doesn't like to ask for money if I spend my money on something that makes me happy, like going out to eat every now and then. I always have believed all my spare money should go to a bill and pay it off and don't ask for help, but my community has pushed me into doing it anyways. So, honoring their requests, I have made one.

PLEASE do not feel like you have to give. If you do, I will be eternally grateful, but you taking the time to even read this is enough. I greatly appreciate you, my community, and anyone who has supported me and Reeve along the way.

One day, this nightmare will be behind us, and it will fade from memory, but the memories of those who have lent their support will be fresh forever in our hearts and minds. <3
