Hello everyone, my name is Nikki and I am creating this GoFundMe for my best friend, Elle. Over the past year, Elle has unfortunately become blind due to an autoimmune disorder which typically affects older adults, 70 years or older. Because of this, they didn't think to look for the signs of the disorder. The last few months have been extremely difficult for Elle, but she is so strong and resilient through it all.

Earlier this week, Elle was hit with another tragedy: her home burnt down. Additionally, her 3 cats, who she loved like her children, were lost in the fire. Devastating. Luckily, at the time of the fire, Elle was staying at my apartment and is not hurt. Unfortunately, all of her things were lost during this tragedy. Elle needs to replace everything she has lost, including the basics like toothpaste and shampoo, and the more elaborate like a winter coat, shoes, clothes, etc. We are asking for any help anyone is willing to give and are so grateful for anything that you can give. Elle is doing okay but is still very upset about her cats and losing her home. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for considering donating to Elle. Thank you.
