Hi everyone, I am starting another go fund me, as many of you know back in July 2025 my dad was in a motorcycle accident that led to the findings that he has Stage 4 colon cancer. Since his accident I have been his caregiver and am still continuing to take that role aside from the help from my husband and in-laws. Luckily my mom was able to be here to support my dad and for a few months after his accident/diagnoses but she eventually needed to go back to CT. Unfortunately in November 2025 she was admitted into the hospital for a blood clot. After tests, scans and biopsies they discovered that she also has stage 4 cancer of unknown primary, after more CT scans we now know that it is lung cancer that has spread to her lymph nodes, bones and other areas of her body. She has gone through 10 rounds of radiation for the tumor that was causing her to get blood clots. Two weeks ago is when her treatment started and she has completed 2 rounds of two types of chemotherapy and two types of immunotherapy and has a long road ahead of her. We are so grateful for my Aunt who my mom lives with that she has been able to be her main caregiver along with my cousins helping with appointments and lots of love and support. I made the decision to take some time off from work in the next few weeks to support my mom through this difficult time and advocate for her as I did for my dad. With all that being said we are starting to see many medical bills starting to trickle in, from her treatments (current and ongoing), 3 hospital stays, scans, procedures along with the ridiculous cost of medications. I hope that this will give my mom some relief and one less thing to have to worry about. My mom is strong and doing her best navigating all of this, we will accept any help if that means donating or offering kind words of support will be very much appreciated. I will do my best to include updates, thank you for being here.
