We are trying to help Ella raise money to pay her bills while staying at Stanford with her daughter Dove. As many of you may know, (and for those who don't) Ella was sent to Stanford Hospital due complications with her pregnancy. She was hospitalized at 24 weeks and delivered Dove by emergency C-section at just over 25 weeks. Dove, born at 1lb 1oz, has been a little fighter! She has however faced a few setbacks. Ella will continue to stay at Stanford for minimally another 10 to 12 weeks while Dove is a patient in the NICU, and return home when Dove is released. Meanwhile she needs to continue to pay her bills. At this time it is anticipated that Ella will not be able to return to work for approximately 6-12 months, due in part to her own medical condition.

Any contribution is greatly appreciated whether it be in the form of funding or prayer.

Update 1

Dove has just passed one month from her Birthdate, which means that she is now considered to be at 30 weeks gestational age (development). She is currently intubated for oxygen assistance, and has tube feedings.

As of 4 days ago, she is able to open both eyes (at the same time) and keep them open for several minutes. This is very encouraging because she suffered a brain bleed at around 1 week and has since had minor seizures, which are declining

Even more encouraging news... Dove has had zero medical setbacks for nine consecutive days as of today. Her feedings have been increased from 1 mL to 15 mL., and she is now getting very close to 2lbs.

We will continue to update Dove's condition.

As she approaches the time which she will be released from Stanford Hospital, we hope to have a virtual baby shower for Ella.
