Help Ella Get Treatment for Lyme Disease
This is Ella. She is the daughter of Rick and Lori Davis. Ella turned 17 in July. The picture is of her in the hospital in San Antonio. In March 2022, she had emergency gallbladder surgery. This was one of many emergency visits throughout the years as her parents continue to help Ella get well and live life to its fullest. She has struggled most of her life and at the age of 12, started having all-over body aches, rashes, random fevers and constant headaches, along with stomach pains and gastrointestinal issues.
Her body has always been slow to heal and infections come quite easily. Her vitamin levels cannot seem to stay within a normal range. She has been in and out of doctor’s offices, urgent cares facilities and emergency departments, has had countless blood tests, scans and x-rays, and plenty of “poking and prodding” and is physically and emotionally exhausted from all of the tests and appointments. She recently has developed trouble with swallowing and an endoscopy was done just last week and she is just getting over an infection in her toe from a previous surgery three months ago. The term mainly being used by her physicians and integrative doctors is chronic inflammation.
She has been diagnosed with strep, staph, black mold, panic attacks, dehydration, vertigo, anxiety and several other conditions, but her doctors have suspected Lyme disease, which is known to cause almost every symptom she has. Antibiotics have proven not to heal or help with any of the above symptoms or diagnosis. She suffers with low immunity and, at this time, the heat alone can cause migraines for days. Her parents have decided to not just treat the symptoms, as this method cannot sustain Ella for a bright and enjoyable future.
Ella has a wonderful opportunity to receive treatment at Sanoviv Medical Institute, a hospital that offers conventional, alternative and integrative programs to address the root cause of illnesses with all disciplines necessary to diagnose, treat and heal her.
The family's medical insurance will not cover the treatment, as it is outside the realm of medical necessity. We are asking for your help to make sure that Ella gets the care that she deserves and that her parents can bring her back home to thrive and finally follow through with all that she wants to accomplish.
