We are so incredibly proud of our daughter, Ella. Born prematurely at 27 weeks weighing 1lb 9oz, has faced more challenges in her young life than most of us would in a life time. Despite everything, she has always been a ray of sunshine – full of joy, determination, and with a passion for BMX.
At just 8 years old, Ella has already achieved so much. In 2024 she was ranked South West Number 1 and British Number 2. Recently, she was featured on BBC News and BBC Radio Devon, telling her story and the incredible journey she’s been on. Now, Ella has the chance to represent Great Britain at the BMX World Championships in Copenhagen – a dream come true for this bright, hard-working little girl.
While we do our best to fund all of Ella’s races, including the Euro Championships in Latvia, other European rounds, and various national and regional competitions, we are reaching out for help with the costs of this next big step. Your support will make a significant difference as she continues to compete at the highest levels. Sponsorship has been a challenge, and as parents, it’s not easy for us to ask for support. But we know this is an opportunity that could change everything for Ella, and we are determined to help her get there.
