Help Ella fight Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis

Hello, friends and family,

On December 21, 2017 Ella's life as she knew it would never be the same. She was just two years old and got diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. Sure we have all heard of our older friends and family complaining of joint pain and arthritis, but a two year old? As you can imagine it was a tough pill to swallow.

We had to make a lot of decisions regarding her health, well-being and future. After countless hours of research, prayer and sleepless nights we decided on a plan of treatment for Ella that had no long term side effects. Her treatment consists of an anti-inflammatory diet, chiropractic care, massage therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy and focus on her emotional well-being.

To say this journey hasn't been an easy one, is quite the understatement. In her words "it's been a hard and long journey, but it has made me stronger." Today most of you know Ella has been doing great, but flair ups do occur. And it never gets easier to see your child in pain, unable to walk, or perform everyday physical tasks that we take for granted. Yet somehow through all of it, she still has a smile, is quick to tell a joke and has a way of brightening your day.

Through more research and prayer we believe the next step towards putting Ella's JRA into remission is Stem Cell Therapy accompanied by a hyperbaric chamber. Recently Ella was accepted to receive Stem Cell Therapy, but it is an out of country procedure and is not covered by insurance. As you can imagine travel, accommodations and treatment costs are substantial.
