On Monday night around 11pm in Primm Springs, TN, my great grandmother Ella Cathey, along with Maryann Warfield, Sharon Warfield, and Ivory Cathey, experienced a devastating house fire that changed their lives forever. In a matter of moments, they lost everything—every belonging, every comfort, and the home that held so many memories. Now, they are faced with the overwhelming challenge of starting over from scratch, searching for a new place to live and trying to replace the essentials they need to get by each day.

The funds raised here will go directly toward helping Ella, Maryann, Sharon, and Ivory find safe housing, purchase clothes, food, and other necessities, and cover their immediate needs as they begin to rebuild. Every dollar will make a difference in helping them regain some stability and hope after such a traumatic event. Your support will help them take the first steps toward healing and recovery.

This tragedy has deeply affected our family. Maryann was flown to Vanderbilt Medical Center and remains there in critical condition in the burn unit. She has a very long road to recovery ahead. Sharon is hospitalized at Maury Regional Hospital and will need to go to a rehabilitation facility. Ivory showed incredible bravery by pulling Ella out of the burning house and witnessing the aftermath. Ella is now coping with the emotional and physical toll of this loss.
