FINAL UPDATE 1/22/2026

Thank you to so much to everyone who donated.

You blew our original goal of $1,800 out of the water.

We just wanted to get the girls new uniforms, which we did. We also got them 2 new sets of pom poms, 3 sets of bows, personalized bags, and warm ups. As well as new signs for their routines, hotel and gas money for their State invitational and so much more.

We are in the process and making certain these girls have the BEST end of year banquets ever.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for giving me the tools to be a Fairy Godmother to these incredible and talented athletes.

UPDATE: We got these amazing girls new uniforms!!! Now we are working on sending our district champions to STATE (That's right, these girls have a 1st place winning streak)

Do you root for the underdog?

How about a team where the first time they touch the equipment every other competitor had on day one is the day of their first competition, and yet that little ragtag team of underdogs walks away with the grand prize?

Sounds like a movie, I know, but it's very real.

Let me tell you about the ELJH Cheerleaders. These girls do not have an official practice space; they practice in hallways and lobbies of their school.

And their uniforms... yikes. They wear ill-fitting leftovers from teams gone by. The girls talk about feeling ridiculous in them. When they're done performing, they immediately put on jackets to hide them. I cannot imagine the courage it takes to go out and perform when you feel ridiculous.

I think you and I could do something about that. I've been talking to their coach, and we have found in-stock uniforms that we can have shipped, and I will personally customize them with sparkly rhinestones by the time their next competition rolls around on Jan 11th.

These girls go out and feel so good in their uniforms.

All great underdog movies get their uniforms in the end; I just want to do that for these girls.
