My name is Elizabeth, and just a few weeks ago, my life changed dramatically. I suffered a brain bleed and stroke, which has left me unable to work for the past three weeks. Just two days ago, I fell again because my balance is still off, and my doctor hasn’t cleared me to return to work yet. This has made it impossible for my household and me to keep up with our rent and car payment, and we’re now facing the real fear of losing our home.

We are doing everything we can to get by, but the stress and uncertainty are overwhelming. The thought of being put out of our place is terrifying, especially while I’m still trying to recover and regain my health. Every day is a challenge, but I know there are people with good hearts who understand what it’s like to go through tough times.
