Help Elizabeth Wright Rebuild After Hurricane Helene
Donation protected
My name is Elizabeth Aycock, known to most as Bibba. I, in partnership with a group of friends from college am raising funds to help our dear friend, Elizabeth Wright. Elizabeth and her beautiful daughter, Tatum. Elizabeth and her family live in Asheville, NC. Tatum, who just turned 6, is in the first grade, and Elizabeth just started a new career as a travel agent. 2024 has been a year of new beginnings. Unfortunately, Hurricane Helene has turned their world upside down. The storm swept through Western North Carolina, making a disastrous impact. Elizabeth has been left with little more than the shirt on her back. With no WiFi and no access to computers, she isn't able to work. While she does have a safe place to sleep, there is no power or running water. She and her neighbors are taking turns charging their phones in each others cars. Even this has limited capacity though, as there is a 3.5 gallon cap on fuel for cars, so they can't be run for long. For anyone that knows Elizabeth, it will come as no surprise that she has created a sense of community amongst a group of otherwise strangers. While staying in a condo community, she and the other residents have come together in the wake of this disaster. She has setup a kitchen, restaurant and even has a pantry. They call her Queen Elizabeth and her restaurant the Queen Cafe. She has poured every last resource she has into helping bring this community together in the name of survival. Let's help pour back into Elizabeth, so she can begin to rebuild her life. Consider donating to help cover expenses to replace the things they have lost and to continue serving this newly formed community! Any amount, no matter how big or small, will help! If you feel more comfortable, we will also provide her venmo, @Elizabeth-Wright-109 and CashApp - $elwright82.
