Elizabeth Rose Lasley was born with a giant Omphalocele on May 12th. Elizabeth has her stomach, liver and small intestines in a sac outside of her tummy. She was at LeBonheur for 9.5 weeks. She was just released this passed week and finally met her big sister Ellis and big brother Renner. Elizabeth will have upcoming surgeries, specialist appointments, therapies, etc. Her Omphalocele will be repaired between 1-4 years of age. She was sent home as well on an NG tube and will have regular follow ups with her doctors to check the tube and Omphalocele. Having a medically fragile child can be a financial burden on families in ways they did not expect. Her parents have set up a medical account for Elizabeth to be used for upcoming needs. The Lasley’s greatly appreciate all the prayers and support!
