Recovery Update:

My recovery is coming along slowly but surely. The doctors have told me it will be five more weeks before I can even begin to use my leg and arm again. It will be a while longer after that before I can actually get along on my feet independently.

Currently, I’m in bed around the clock with my leg elevated, except when someone helps transfer me to a wheelchair for an hour twice a day. I’m doing physical and occupational therapy three times a day right from my bed, working hard to regain my strength and mobility.
