Our beautiful mother was diagnosed with rare t- cell Lymphoma cancer, on May 5th after having a scary episode that led her to the emergency room.
She had surgery to remove one of her lymph nodes for biopsy and after getting the results back from the many tests that were done, we received the good news last week that it has not metastasized anywhere else in the body, there is no cancer anywhere else, it's just in her blood/ lymphatic system.
That was a heavy weight lifted off our chest but the battle isn't over, the oncologists say it's an aggressive kind of lymphoma, and we have to press forward and look at all of our options. They want to start chemo therapy.
We have watched several of our family members, her mother and her siblings, battle different forms of cancer in the past, and go through conventional chemotherapy, become weak, have their immune system and bodies destroyed, right when they needed their strength the most, all to have the chemo not work.
We will go that route if necessary but for now she is wanting an alternative approach and we are in full support of that at this time.
Cancer comes in like an uninvited storm, a story all to familiar to so many of us. We have found an enhanced Gerson therapy hospital for alternative cancer treatments in Tijuana, Mexico. We are speaking to the doctors there discussing treatment options and are blown away that something like this even exists.
